Community organizations play a substantial role in society. They introduce new ways of meeting people, spending time with people, and engaging in meaningful conversations that can change lives! Non-profit organizations not only care about the community as a whole, but each individual in the group. Community events can help organizations really focus on the people as individuals, and get to know what they really need in their lives, and what they can do to help everyone at the same time.
Not just this year, but in the past 3 years, everyone’s lives have changed, or been impacted in one way or another. Lots of things during the pandemic made it a lot harder for many people to effectively communicate, work, and even live. Here at Community Nexus, we offer a variety of professional and social skills training programs, as we work with local schools and community organizations to create programs that are impactful, and effective, being tailored to the individual for their best results. We have many upcoming pilot programs ahead of us this year in community wellness, family services, and career & life skills that we can’t wait to see roll out into our communities!
As we bring in the new year, make sure you reflect on this year, and remember everything you are grateful for, and what you can do as an individual, to get involved with your community. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who supported us through partnership, collaboration, and sponsorship to expand our existing programs and to facilitate the creation of 4 new pilot programs for individuals of all abilities as well. Once again, THANK YOU!
Have a Happy New Year!

Community Nexus is a movement to change the way society looks at professional development. It is a hub of the community it serves, built and designed by its members. As a team, we generate more than any of us are capable of individually, which amplifies our power to build businesses, partnerships, and community.
We seek to build partnerships with local businesses to provide workforce development, employment placement, and retention services. Our intention is to support individual efforts of start up business that satisfies a community need. We fully believe it takes a village to build a thriving community and are prepared to work together to that end.
We value a community approach to answering wants and needs and will assist in identifying resources to members for business development. Working in collaboration with committed people will generate synergy to achieve a favorable outcome. We are all in this together and are dedicated to team work to make the dream work.
Community Nexus has been focusing initial energies on coworking spaces, sustainable farming, and utilizing shipping containers for building structures. Our first initiative is to create a physical coworking site that will serve as the infrastructure in which the community will be housed. The building will be made of shipping containers with expansion options for additional business development. These containers will also provide options for sustainable farming which is our second initiative.
The value of the Nexus will be found among the members' influence and strategic development. Our outreach is to heighten awareness of the concept of shared resources for business development while meeting the needs of the community, with focus on the underserved populations of our community. The Nexus hub will provide a canvas to create partnerships working together to enroll others to see something for themselves inside this collaboration.
